Love itMar 02, 2008
By R. Griffin I bought one of these thermometers and use it every time I grill. I grill about 5 days a week on my Traeger Pellet Grill. It's so great because I can check each piece of meat very quickly and close the lid quicker. It's a little spendy but it works great.

By Sandy Well we are very disappointed with this product and if we had our paper work we would return it as it worked a few times and is now broken and can't be fixed.

Not the best, tiny buttons, thick meats or won't be good.Mar 22, 2010

I bought this for my new rotisserie but found that you have to have thick meat, a least an inch to the center, to get it to work, and even then it was horrible. (My burgers and chops and even chickens were not thick enough.) With thick meats I could not get a good reading and it kept jumping around from 80 to 152 degrees. Maybe mine was just defective? Other than that, it has a tiny display and it has tiny little buttons, one is a "hold" button you push to get the temperature to stabilize. Well, good luck with that. I ended up returning this one and purchased the RT301WA Super-Fast Pocket Digital Thermometer by ThermoWorks for $20.00. I love it and it is so fast and needs very little thickness. It has a nice big readout too.
