Initially I was happy, but after a few months of carrying it in my pocket the lense gets all scratched up. Pretty much have to throw it away. I have had much better luck with the cheap ones from India that have glass lenses.

What can I say, it does the job. I just wish it came with some sort of case to store it in, but then if it did it would cost more.

I order two magniloupe . advertise showing 4.5 x maniloupe, but when I received last night, on box showing 4x only. I don't know why have variation in description. product look ok.

I bought the Carson MagniLoupe for inspecting small print on electronic components in a quality control setting. They seem to work just as well as the much more expensive B & L glass eye loupes. The price I paid was ridiculously low and I suspect that it was because they were advertised as 4.5x and 6.5x and were actually 4x and 6x which was fine with our application.
